Promoting success for all students

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Barngarla people as the traditional custodians of the land on which our school operates. We pay our respects to their Elders of the past and present. Our staff and students mostly live on Barngarla and Nukunu country. Our diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community come from a large number of different groups. We acknowledge their long and continuing spiritual connection to Country, while understanding that due to policies and practices of colonisation, some links are now broken or diminished. However, we acknowledge the resilience and survival of the oldest living culture on Earth, and celebrate that our school community is enriched by the partnership with First Nations people.
